Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is a great time to stop and reflect on the things that we have in our life that we should be thankful for. I like to do this periodically…a great way to stay grounded. First and foremost, I am thankful for my family. My father and sisters…the memories of my mother. I am VERY thankful for my wife and three great kids…the reason I am here and a great source of inspiration. I hope everyone feels the same about their family.
There are a few things more germane to business that I am very thankful for. At the top of the list…our great clients. It has been 11 months since we formed Silverstone Advisors. In less than a year, we have had the honor of serving 28 different clients (and growing hopefully!). Each and everyone of them are “in the arena” and we respect them greatly. We will do everything we can to help them.
I am also very thankful for my partners. We are all unique but we all share some key similarities…commitment to our clients, experience in many facets of business, intellectual curiosity and a very strong work ethic. Most importantly, they are all truly good people.
I am also thankful that we live in a country where we have the ability to work and be free to build a business and a future.
